In Memory of Randy Wike
January 24, 1960 – March 15, 2025

Rest in Peace Randy. You Are Deeply Missed.

Randy Eugene Wike, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on January 24, 1960, in Idaho, Randy was known for his unwavering support of his family, his community, and his beloved University of Nevada athletics. He was a passionate fan, always present at games and events, and cherished every opportunity to cheer on his team.

Randy spent his life surrounded by love, especially from his devoted wife, Denise, with whom he shared 46 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life filled with memories and shared moments that meant the world to them. He also found immense joy in the company of his children, Kristan, Justin, and Aaron, always proud of their accomplishments and always there to offer his support.

Randy enjoyed a lifelong career in the casino industry. For the past decade, he called Baldini’s home, where he became a well-known and respected figure not only in the office, but also on the floor where he could often be found on the mic giving away prizes and as a podcast co-host on “The Bookie and the Bettors” show. His time there was marked by his work ethic, kindness, and the strong relationships he built with his colleagues and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother, Berneice; father, Manuel; and his brothers, Jerry and Larry. He is survived by his loving wife, Denise, and his children, Kristan Mihelic, Justin (Alisa) Wike, and Aaron (Casey) Wike, and his beloved grandchildren, Addison, Avery, Braydn, Ryder, Baylee, Everly, and Emmitt. Randy is also deeply missed by his extended family, friends, and the entire community that he touched with his spirit, kindness and generosity.

A celebration of life will be held at Baldini’s Casino on Saturday, May 10th from 4-8pm. The family invites all who knew Randy to join in remembering and honoring his life. You are encouraged to wear your Wolfpack gear or silver and blue in honor of his love for Nevada Athletics.

The family has set up a “Go Fund Me” for Denise to help with end-of-life expenses.
